My husband Tony and I have used the services of Dr. Pribil at Pet Medical for over a decade. We have a collection of cats, a ferret and a Doberman, all of whom have been treated by Dr. Pribil. We cannot say enough about Dr. Pribil's dedication to our pets, whom we consider members of our family. Indeed, Dr. Pribil has been available to us after hours and on weekends to answer our questions and has even met us after hours at the clinic to take care of our pets' emergencies. Through the years, our faith and trust in Dr. Pribil and the staff and Pet Medical has been confirmed. During OU/Texas weekend last year, our dog developed an intestinal problem and my mom, who was babysitting, had to take her to see Dr. Hufnagel, who was filling in for Dr. Pribil. Dr. Hufnagel talked us out of coming back to Edmond from Dallas by reassuring us that he and my mom could handle the situation and we should enjoy the game! We have referred our family members and friends to Dr. Pribil and will always do so without any hesitation. Through all the care and consideration, we have come to know Dr. Pribil as a friend and a professional. We plan to bring our pets to him as long as he will let us!

I wanted to express our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Pribil for the exceptional care he has given & continues to give our 15 year old Empire boy. Even though we moved to Houston, TX and then to Durant, OK we still kept Dr. Pribil as our vet, he was so patient with me when I would call worried and never hesitated to try to help Empire over the phone. Our little old man can be very grumpy at times and it always seems he's that way when we go for one of Empire's visits and Dr. Pribil takes it all in stride. The care, compassion & understanding we receive is well worth the 3+ hour drive. It is only because of Dr. Pribil's excellent care & treatment that Empire is still his grumpy, ornery and healthy self. Empire will celebrate his 16th birthday in May......THANK YOU DR PRIBIL!!!!!!!

We became acquainted with Dr. Hufnagel and his staff about September 2007. Our ten year old boxer-mix, Duncan, had been under the care of another doctor for several years and had been treated for a number of medical problems including weight gain, hair loss, allergies and thyroid disease with no positive results.
At our insistence, a blood sample was finally sent to an out-of-state veterinary college and it was determined that he had Cushing's disease. We could not get any messages to this doctor nor would she return our telephone calls so we would know how to proceed with his care. A week passed without any word from her,so we went to her clinic, picked up his records and called Dr. Hufnagel, simply from the Yellow Pages.
In January 2008, Duncan was diagnosed with a five pound tumor in his abdomen, which was removed, and then an MRI showed a mass on the brain in March 2008.
Dr. Hufnagel was there when needed and in April 2008, we were forced to make a very difficult decision. He and his staff have the care and compassion that helps a pet owner get through very sad times. We have been treated like family.
Our telephone calls have always been answered or returned and we were privileged to have Dr. Hufnagel's cell phone number when Duncan was so ill.
A year before Duncan died, we adopted a two year old boxer named "Felix". He filled the hole left in our hearts by the loss of Duncan. Dr. Hufnagel now cares for Felix, three cats and two "granddogs".
We like to think we are special to them because someone always calls to check on their welfare after a procedure, but we know that's just something that's done for every pet who is lucky enough to be their patient and every owner lucky enough to be a friend to the doctor and his staff.
